About the APA:

The APA is the world’s largest amateur pool league with more than 265,000 members competing in 8-Ball and 9-Ball Leagues throughout North America. Click here for more information about the history of the APA.

 

Here in Southwest VA the APA was started in 2002, when Joy and Andy Skerritt got play started in Roanoke and Blacksburg.

 

Roanoke Area's current operators are Brian and Leanne Scruggs. They assumed the role of League Operators in July of 2016.

 

The Roanoke area currently has just shy of 100 teams actively playing each week.
